Cancellation Policy

To make a change to your booking, please text 0412 285 928 and we can reschedule. Please give a minimum of 48 hours notice. Cancellations made without 48 hours notice will forfeit the session and no refund will be issued. For cancellations made on the day of the booking, a session credit may be given if there is evidence of an emergency. Any no shows will forfeit the session and no credit will be issued. Uncontrollable reasons to cancel such as weather, traffic, acts of God, a full session credit will be issued. Thank you for understanding

What is this service?

Desensitising Sessions are run at a place that allows your dog to be confronted with triggers in a controlled way. This session covers triggers at home. Slowly exposing the dogs to the triggers and making it a positive experience by distracting them with games, treats, training, toys and enjoyable moments. We set up a situation where your dog is exposed to triggers in a controlled, safe way. This is also part of counter conditioning to change your dogs perspective, on a bad experience, by making it a positive one. Various methods are used, depending on your dogs personality. Training can be for many reasons or we can put a plan together that covers everything. The main thing with Power Pooches is we train YOU, so that you can train your dog/s and reinforce their education.
